“Lotus Eaters” 01 Backpack
£45.00
Medium size water-resistant backpack with large inner pocket, laptop section and front pocket from the “Lotus Eaters” collection.
The designs are inspired by the light and water of the Aegean sea and based on work I made while on a trip to Halkidiki in northern Greece.

In Greek myth, the lotus-eaters were a mysterious race of people living on a small island dominated by the lotus tree. They were encountered by the Greek hero Odysseus during his return from Troy. The lotus fruits and flowers were the primary food of the island and were a narcotic. Those who ate the lotus fruit were overcome by a blissful forgetfulness. After they ate the lotus, they would forget their home and loved ones and long only to stay with their fellow lotus-eaters.
